Elizabeth M. Sawyer 92, of Ardmore,TN died Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at her home after a short battle with cancer.
Born Thursday, March 15, 1928 in TN, she was the daughter of Jack Lummie Mitchell and Myrtle Velma Mitchell.
Ms. Sawyer loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Howard Sawyer; and 9 siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Glasgow, Ardmore, TN; son,Trey Young, Hendersonville, TN; brothers, Richard Mitchell, Salt Lake City, UT and Bobby (Geraldine) Mitchell, Ardmore, AL; sisters, Connie Magnusson, Ardmore, AL and Nan (Haskel) Mealer, Ardmore, AL; grandchildren, Matt, Tony, Amber and Taylor; greatgrandchildren, Christopher, Brook, Kaleb, Riley, Paisley, Tensley and Laken; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have a graveside service at a later date.
