Elizabeth “Libby” Ann Hood, 35, of Russellville, Alabama passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Tyler Alexander officiating. Burial will be at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Russellville, AL.
Born on October 18, 1988, to David Hood and Jan Franks Thompson, Libby enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding horses. Libby was an avid Alabama Football fan. Above all Libby loved her friends and family.
Survivors include her wife Ashley Dailey; mother, Jan Thompson (James); father, David Hood (Joan); one brother, Matt Hood; grandmother, Jeannette Franks; mother-in-law, Tammie Lambert; father-in-law, Jeff Dailey Sr.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family members.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Howard and Lorene Hood; maternal grandfather, Hal Dee Franks.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Franks, Mark Thomas, Ronnie White, Trey Hutto, Terry Bendall, Jeffery Dailey, Nick Seay, Jimmy Dale Seay, and Doug Nicholson.
