Imagine Jesus being the first face you see, your mother’s love and warmth still surrounding you, never facing pain or sorrow. Little Ellie returned to those waiting before her: her maternal grandmother, Pamela Kelley Gray of Decatur, AL; maternal great-grandparents, Joe and Juanita Gray of Lexington, AL; Max and Nancy Kelley of Athens, AL. Paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Beech of Chatom, AL; and Mr. and Mrs Johnnie M. Lee of Gainesville, FL.
She left behind loving parents, David and Lauren Lee; brothers, Isaiah and Judah Lee; grandparents, Drs. Wayne and Sherry Lee, and Joey and Nancy Gray; uncle, Wayne Lee Jr. (Jennifer); aunts, Cynthia Walz and Katie Hampton (Matt). Waiting to know her were many cousins, extended family, and friends.
Although her earthly body was born still, her precious soul was flying high to the place we all dream to be. She will be waiting for us patiently. Meanwhile, let her be the beacon to heaven we strive to reach and the memory of the little girl who meant so much to so many.
A Funeral Service for Elizabeth will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
