Funeral service for Elizabeth C. Miller, 85, of Decatur, will be Saturday, September 21, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Posey and Brian Hawkins officiating. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Miller, who died Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Decatur Health and Rehab, was born September 29, 1927, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, to John Cerbanic and Julie Cerbanicova. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.R. Miller; one daughter, Julie Terry; and one grandson, Cody Colton.
She is survived by one son, Earsie “Buddy” Miller Jr. (Emily) of Vacaville, CA; two daughters, Sharlene Copeland (Richard) of Hartselle and Rhonda Alfieri of Prtage, MI; one son-in-law, Tommy Bolton of Hartselle; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
