Elizabeth (Beth) Glascock Pflug entered the Kingdom of God on May 10, 2013, at Williamson County Medical Center in Franklin, Tenn.
She was born on April 5, 1965, in Florence, Ala., to Fred and Norma (Cassimus) Glascock. Beth grew up in Florence, Ala., where she graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1983. After high school she attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Beth married Steven Pflug in 1993 in Florence, Ala. They’ve been happily married for 20 years in Franklin, Tenn. In 2003, Beth gave birth to their beautiful son, Ethan. Beth was a member Gracepointe Church and was a District Manager for American Eagle Outfitters.
Beth was preceded in death by her father, Fred Glascock; her maternal grandparents, John and Gertrude Cassimus, of Florence, Ala.; her paternal grandparents, Booker and Jessie Glascock, of Tuscumbia, Ala.; and her in-laws, Calvin and Rose Mary Pflug, of Metairie, La.
Beth is survived by husband, Steven, and son, Ethan; her mother, Norma Cassimus Glascock, of Florence, Ala.; her brother, Darryl (Lynda) Glascock; mother-in-law, Carolyn Pflug; her brother-in-law, Greg (Julie) Pflug; her sisters-in-law, Peggy (Ralph) Oldendorf, and Mary Ann (Mike) McCall; her loving nieces and nephews, Taylor, Cally, Jill, Ashton, Brendon, Tyler and Spencer, and many adoring cousins and friends.
The family will be greeting friends and relatives on May 13, from 12 p.m.-2 p.m., followed by a celebration of life service that will be held at 2 p.m., officiated by Reverend Stan Mitchell, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, at 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, Tenn.,williamsonmemorial.com. Burial will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
