Elizabeth Anne Westrope, 85, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. Mrs. Westrope was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ervil Lowe, and brother, Wade Hampton Lowe.
Elizabeth was very active with the children’s programs and taught Sunday school at First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Dewitt Westrope; daughter, Lea Anne Windham; brother, Robert Baker Lowe, Jr.; grandchildren, Elizabeth Tate Windham, Anne Westmoreland Windham, David Thomas Windham (Katie), and Robert William Talmadge Windham; great-grandchildren, Emily Anne Windham and Henry Thomas Dewitt Windham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, October 1 at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. James Roberts officiating.
