Elizabeth Ann Wilson, age 93 of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at Hillcrest Healthcare in Ashland City.
Funeral services will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 3:00PM on Monday, June 7th with Bro. Gene Parton officiating. Burial will follow at EverRest of Cheatham with H.T. Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Keith Townley, Randall Pugh, Dalton Townley, Andy Wilson, and Maddox Wilson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Randy Fox and the Donnie Eley family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-7PM on Sunday, June 6th, and again on Monday beginning at 1:00PM until the hour of service at 3:00PM.
Mrs. Wilson was born on November 23, 1927 in Chapmansboro, Tennessee to the late D & Annie Shaw Fox. She was a homemaker and she loved to work in her garden and especially her Irises. Mrs. Wilson loved her church family, meeting with the seniors group every month, and adored her grandchildren. She was a member of Oaklawn Free Will Baptist Church, attended Pleasant View First Baptist Church, and was proud of the accomplishment of 40 plus years of perfect attendance in Sunday School.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, F.E. Wilson; and a brother, Hillard Fox.
She is survived by her son H.T. (Sandy) Wilson; daughter, Sheila (Keith) Townley; grandchildren, Tyler (Haley) Wilson, Taite (Brent) Neal, Dalton Townley; and great-grandchildren, Maddox Wilson, Avery Wilson, Olivia Neal, and Adeline Neal.
