Elizabeth Ann Thompson age 65 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Thompson was born February 14, 1951 in Norfolk, VA to Kenneth W. Murray and Mary Jean Murray York.
Services will be Saturday, July 23, 2016 12:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Reggie Whiddon officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survived by her husband, Tom Thompson of Athens; two daughters, Crista Green and husband, Jim of East Limestone and Annie King and husband, Steve of Athens; one son, Jeff Thompson of Austin, TX; Mother, Jean York of Madison, AL; grandchildren, Justin Green and wife, Paige, Robin Green, Erin Green, Jacob Green, Megin Green Joseph Green, Cody Tucker, Grant King and Margaret King; great-grandchildren, Ian Tucker, Elliot Tucker, Henley Green and Harper Green; two sisters, Anita Hill of Huntsville, AL and Toni Smyley and husband Todd of Little Rock, AR; one brother, David Murray and wife, Tina of Tampa, FL.
