Elizabeth Ann Davis, known by most as Libby, departed this life from United Methodist Senior Service-Gregory Greenhouse on Monday, December 9, 2024. She was 88 years old. Born in Lee County, MS on August 21, 1936 to the late Jeff Berryhill and Earline Franks Berryhill, she lived her entire adult life here where she raised her family and contributed to the welfare of East Tupelo. Libby worked many years as Office Manager of Senter Transit Mix Concrete Company where she was known far and wide for her bookkeeping and customer relations skills. A longtime member of East Heights Baptist Church, Libby loved the Lord and was active in all ministries of the church. She was a “mother hen” to her sons and especially doted over her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
All services will be private. Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo Chapel is honored to serve their friends.
Libby is survived by two sons, Andy Davis and wife, Mitzi of Tupelo, and Phillip Wayne Davis and wife, Joan, of North Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Doyle (Brian), Scott Davis (Emily), Tori Davis and fiance Riley, Jonathan Davis, and Benjamin Davis; 4 great-grandchildren, Emma Kate Davis, Will Davis, Parker Davis, and Lucy Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Earline Berryhill; her son, former Tupelo Councilman Jonny Davis; and 2 siblings, Claudette Berryhill and Wayne Berryhill, and the boy’s father, Bobby R. Davis.
