Elizabeth “Ann” Brazelton was born February 10, 1948, in Berkley, Alabama, daughter of the late Reverend Willie Ed and Amie Brazelton. She departed this life quietly and peacefully at her residence on Monday, September 23, 2024.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and seven sisters. Ann went to Berkley Junior High School in Madison County. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age and joined Acklin Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Berkley, Alabama. She enjoyed attending church when she was able.
Over the years, she loved cooking, drawing, crocheting and knitting hats and blankets to give to family and friends. She was an avid fan of the Andy Griffith Show and Matlock. Although very quiet and meek she always had a very sweet sprit about her she will be truly missed.
The beautiful expressions of her memory will be cherished by her sister, Doris E. Brazelton, Huntsville, AL; three sisters-in-law: Peggy Brazelton (Robert) Huntsville, AL, Juanita Brazelton (James) Gurley, AL, and Carrie Brazelton (John Ed) Indianapolis, IN; and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Acklin Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church (209 Cobb Road, Gurley, AL 35748) with Reverend Joe Kelly officiating. Interment will be in the Berkley Community Cemetery in Gurley, AL. Ms. Brazelton will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2024 and 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Royal Funeral Home.
