Elizabeth A. Weske, 85, formerly of Fulton NY, passed away on December 10th, 2022.
She was born in Dunmore, PA to Michael and Mary Wasicko on November 13th, 1937. “Betsy” as she was known to her many friends and loved ones, graduated from Fulton High School. She married George R. Weske in 1956, and their long and loving marriage produced six children, sixteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. After retiring from the Oswego County Board of Elections, Betsy and George relocated to Summerfield, Florida, and after his passing, spent several years in Huntsville AL.
She is pre-deceased by her husband, George; her parents, Michael and Mary; and her sisters, Michealine Davies and Mary Lou Walsh. She is survived by her children, Liz (David) Del Nero, Maggie (Bob) Foscue, George (Jennifer) Weske, Trish (Brad) Fister, Rob (Eva) Weske, Christine (Chris) Schremp; and sisters, Lucille Crosby and Chris (Jack) Podger.
There will be no memorial service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Betsy’s name to Hospice of North Alabama.
