Elizabeth A. “Eppie” Franks, 83, died Friday, January 20, 2017, at Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born May 5, 1933, to James Berlin and Nona Williams Warren. She retired as a supervisor for Itawamba Manufacturing and then worked for a security company and Three Rivers. She also sat with the elderly. She enjoyed working in her yard, especially with her flowers. She was a caring and generous person to her friends and family.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, January 23, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Rodney Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in the Mantachie Cemetery.
Survivors include a special sister-in-law, Augie Davidson, of Mantachie; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claborn “Boogie” Franks, in 1996; three brothers, Atness Warren, Travis Warren, and John Lee Warren; four sisters, Tula Stephens, Zana Moreland, Lucille Spradling, and Daska Harling; and her parents.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
