Eli Q. (Jim) Williams – Obituary

Eli Q. (Jim) Williams, 92, of Five Points, TN, passed away February 28, 2013 after an extended illness. Mr. Williams was a World War II Army Veteran, a farmer, and worked in the ASCS office for 29 years. He was also a member of The DAV.

 

Survivors include:

 

Wife: Helen Nash Williams of Five Points, TN

 

Daughters:

 

Connie Moore of Five Points, TN

 

Carol Osborn of Lawrenceburg, TN

 

Jill Liles of Tuscumbia, AL

 

(3) Grandchildren and (5) Great-grandchildren

 

 

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, William Oscar and Hattie Thomas Williams.

 

 

Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 10:30-1:00 P.M. at Five Points Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the church with Lane Myhan and Franklin Lee officiating. Burial will be in Five Points Cemetery with full military honors. The American Legion Post #146 Honor Guard will serve as pallbearers.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Five Points Cemetery Fund.
