Eli Daniel Gray, 12, of Huntsville passed away June 10, 2019. He was born to grateful parents, Kevin & Bethany Gray, on April 3, 2007.
A boy full of life and a joy to so many, Eli loved being outside, playing basketball and soccer, climbing trees and running free on “the mountain.” He was kind and caring and had a heart for the “least of these.” Those who knew him, loved him and knew he loved the Lord. His life was precious and enjoyed by all those who were honored to know him.
He was preceded in death by his wonderful great-grandparents, Elbert & Doris Chambers and Bob & Grace Butler (Rabatin), and his cousin, Andrew David Clark.
He is survived by his parents: Kevin & Bethany Gray, his siblings: Canaan, Joel, Lillianna, Lucy and Peter Gray, his grandparents: Phil & Becky Butler, Denny (Carol) Gray, and Donna (Mickey) Peoples, Aunts & Uncles: Chad (Kristy) Gray, Gracie (David) Clark, Jason (Christa) Butler, Micah (Julianne) Butler, Benjamin (Janna Beth) Butler, Josiah Butler (and fiancee, Camille) & Isaac Butler (and fiancee, Madison) and all his beloved cousins: Bethany, Colin, Dylan & Nate Gray; Ronald, Adriana, Joe & Ian Clark; Ethan, Elise, Joshua, Abigail, Isabella, Charlotte, Victoria, Phillip, William, Gwyneth, Alexander & Florence Butler; Jeremiah, Levi, Abram & Grace Butler; Elliana, Elizabeth, Jack & Evelyn Butler.
The visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 on Thursday, June 13th, 2019 with the service at 3:00, both at the Home of Phil & Becky Butler – 657 County Road 235, Gurley, AL 35748.
Internment will be at the family cemetery immediately following the service.
