Elfriede Söll Oliver, “Omie” passed away May 24, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Elfriede was born on March 10, 1937 in Ichenhausen, Germany; she was the oldest of five children.
Elfriede met and married General Jim Oliver in Germany in 1965 and moved to the United States. She was a resident of Huntsville, AL for 41 years. She had numerous friends. Elfriede worked and retired from Sam’s Club after 15 years of service.
Elfriede was known by all as “Omie”. She loved her family with all of her heart. She enjoyed sharing the love of cooking with everyone, including her dogs. She also loved gardening, traveling and visiting Germany every chance she could. She was always a joy and blessing to others. She will be so deeply missed by her family and friends.
Elfriede is survived by her sons, Danny Oliver (Laurie), Raymond Oliver and Klaus Oliver; daughter, Donna Amody (Paul); grandchildren, Stephanie Benshoof, Randy Oliver, Alex Oliver, Andrew Oliver, James Oliver, Julia Oliver, Barry Ramirez, Anthony Ramirez, Ricky Ramirez and Taylor Ramirez; 12 great grandchildren.
