Eleanora Marchbanks, 98, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church from 10am until 11am. Funeral Mass will follow at 11am. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Eleanora was a lifetime member of Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from TVA after 34 years of service. She enjoyed a lifetime of dancing and traveling.
Eleanora was preceeded in death by her husband of 58 years, Herbert F. Marchbanks, Sr.; three brothers; one sister; son-in-law, Danny Kimbrough; and daughter-in-law, Deborah Marchbanks.
Survivors include her sons, Herbert F. Marchbanks, Jr. and Robert N. Marchbanks; daughter, Lynn Kimbrough; four grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister-in-law, Louise Wade; and numerous nephews and nieces.
