Eleanor Lovern Smith – Obituary

Eleanor Lovern Smith, 72, of Tuscumbia, passed away Sept. 8, 2012.

Visitation will be Tuesday Sept. 11, 2012, from 12-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with funeral services to begin at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating is Dr. Tom Whatley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Waneta Evans; three brothers, Bill, Robert L. and Denair Evans.

Survivors include her husband of 52 wonderful years, Clifton Smith;

Sons, Danny Wallace (LaDecca) and Ronnie Wallace (Maretta);

Daughters, Lacinda Pounders (Stephen), Wanda Little (Bob) and Beverly Smith; grandchildren, Danlee, Carlee Wallace, Shane Taylor, Brandy Shook (Dell), Richard Pounders (Kathy), Lindsey Kilpatrick (Chase) and Brittney Little;

Great-grandchildren, Madison and Macy Pounders; brother, Dewayne Evans (Lenis); sister, Yvonne Jeffreys; a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Richard Pounders, Shane Taylor, Danlee Wallace, Dell Shook, Devon Franks and Chase Kilpatrick.

Mrs. Smith was a member of First Nazarene Church of Sheffield, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed .

Colbert Memorial Chapel of the Shoals is assisting the family.
