Eldred “Elrod” Lambert, 67, of Corinth, MS passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Mississippi Care Center – Corinth, MS. He was born in Tishomingo County, MS on October 16, 1950 to the late Buck and Edna Caston Lambert and graduated from Burnsville High School in 1968. Elrod was a member of the Corinth F&AM Masonic Lodge #116 and retired with 25 years of service at Caterpillar. He married his beloved Janie in 1972 and spent 45 happy years by her side. He loved the outdoors where he spent many happy hours hunting, fishing and hitting the open road on the back of his motorcycle. He believed that life was too short to deny your family affection and lavished them with all the love he had to give. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of those he loved. A gathering of family and friends is scheduled for 5 – 8 pm, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
