Effie Geniva Saint, 91, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at her home in Tharptown.
Mrs. Saint lived all of her life in Lawrence and Franklin counties and was a member of the Sanderson Chapel Methodist Church in Hatton. She was a wife and loving mother and grandmother.
The funeral service will be today, March 2, 2014, at 2 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Tharptown Cemetery. Officiating will be Brandon Kerby, Sandy Walker and Eb Neeley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Survivors include children, Joy Neeley, Patricia Posey and husband, Johnny; William D. Saint and wife, Annette,;Dennis Ray Saint and wife, Shelby, Jerry E. Saint and wife; Paula, and Billy Wayne Saint; brother, Raymond Kerby; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Honorary bearers will be Shea Saint and Kenneth Smallwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Saint; parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kerby; sisters, Flora Flannagan and Irene Smith; brothers, Howard, Travis, Hollis, Ralph and Arlander Kerby, all of Lawrence County; and a precious great-grandchild, Nathaniel Neeley.
