Effie Esther Taylor Wilson, 89, Sharon, TN (formerly of Russellville), passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012.
The visitation was 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 at Williams Funeral Home, Sharon, TN. The service was at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Officiating at the service was Bro. Larry Powers and Bro. Eddie Hutchens. Mrs. Taylor was then transported to Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville, AL for a visitation and service there. The visitation at Spry Memorial Chapel was 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating at this service was Bro. Brad Brewer. Burial will follow at Taylor Family Cemetery, Frankfort.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Woodrough (husband, David) of Sharon, TN; son, Roger Black of Cicero, IL; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Veralee Stidham (Hodges, AL), Shelly Whitehead (Selma, CA), Celestine Entrekin (Russellville, AL); and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wilson; parents, Preston & Bessie Taylor; sister, Lurlie Summrel; and brother, Jerry Taylor.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family with their local arrangements.
