Edwina Ruth Walsh, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in Columbia, Tennessee.
Edwina was born on August 14, 1927, to the late Everett and Margaret Preston Gross in Elkland, PA.
She was a proud, doting mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She took pride in nurturing and caring for her children. In her downtime, she loved to pass the time with needle and thread in hand, whether it was sewing or cross-stitching, she took the time to make these delicate masterpieces. And other times, you would find her lost in the pages of her favorite books. As the children grew as did she, she became more and more involved in community and church events. She enjoyed watching EWTN keep up to date on her daily Mass.
She was devoted to her family and the Heavenly Father.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children: John (Victoria) Walsh III, Edwina Romero, Timothy Walsh, Cecilia Walsh, and Mark Walsh; grandchildren: Patricia Dawn Deek, Della Rose Calderon, Curtis Ray Allert, Bryan Richard Allert, Amanda Sara Walsh, John Joseph Walsh IIII, and Michael Walsh; and seven great-grandchildren; nieces: Laura Lee and Nancy; and nephews: Ed, David, Jason, and Edward.
In addition to her parents, Edwina is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Joseph Walsh, Jr.; daughters: Patricia Ann, Catherine Margaret, Rose Marie; and granddaughter: Ginger Denise.
