Dr. Edwin Phillip Lloyd, 91, passed away on August 13, 2021 at The Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville, MS. He was a retired entomologist with the USDA, member of First Baptist Church in Starkville and First Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elva Rae Higgins Lloyd; and parents, Ralph Noland Lloyd and Ethel Mae Phillips Lloyd.
He is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Mosley(Tommy) of Greenville, AL; grandchild, Meredith Bryan (Scott); great grandchildren, William Thomas Bryan and Brooks Scott Bryan; and faithful and special friends, Stewart Teague (Karen) of Starkville, MS.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Rev. Clifton Curtis will conduct the service.
