Edward Thomas Rouse, II, a longtime resident of Munford, Alabama, passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 49. He was surrounded by family and friends in his final moments after an unexpected illness.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Bonita Rouse; his sisters Lynn Rouse, Cathryn Jackson (Ken); his nieces and nephews, Amanda Jackson (Zack), Ryan Rouse (Angel), Marcus Jackson (Paigelyn), Samantha Jackson; and great nephew, Axin Jackson. He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Rouse; his maternal grandmother, Helen K. Martin; and his paternal grandparents, Edward and Zera Mae Rouse.
Tommy was a Christian and he loved our country, our constitution, and our freedoms. He especially loved his family and friends, who knew him as Tommy, TomTom or Bondo.
Tommy never had children of his own, but his beloved dogs, Damien and Pooh Bear, were just like children to him. He also loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own.
Tommy was a very passionate man with big dreams. He was a jack of all trades, but he excelled in auto-body repair. Tommy’s work at Bondo’s Custom Paint and Fabrication earned him recognition and was featured in car shows and magazines.
Tommy will be greatly missed but will forever be at peace in the kingdom of heaven.
“Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”
