Edward Marshall Schenk, age 54 of Arab died Wednesday – May 4, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Schenk was born on March 20, 1962 in Aurora, Illinois the son of Ronald Lee Schenk & Sylvia Ann Marshall Schenk. He had lived in Arab for the past 20 years, moving here from Huntsville Alabama. He worked as an electrician for Anderson Chemical Company and served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of Liberty Church in Arab.
He is survived by his mother: Sylvia Peavia; step-daughter: Heather Averwater (C.J.); a sister: Phyllis Matthews (Mike) and one step grandchild: Miles Averwater. He was preceded in death by his father: Ronald Lee Schenk and a brother Gerald Russell Schenk.
Memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. – Sunday May 8, 2016 at Liberty Church – Downtown Arab Campus, with Brother: Keith Hodges officiating. The family elected cremation. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
