Edward Hassell, Jr. was born May 10, 1954 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of the Edward, Sr. and Mary Elnora Bailey Hassell, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Wayne County High School and also from Middle Tennessee State University. He was employed as a truck driver.
Mr. Hassell departed this life on May 1, 2014 at Hardin Medical Center at the age of 59 years, 11 months and 21 days.
He is survived by one brother, Billy E. Hassell of San Antonio, Texas and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Alice Gardner, Kathrein Clemens and Josephine Pearson.
