Edward Everett Kelsoe – Obituary

Funeral service for Edward Everett Kelsoe, age 75, will be today at 3 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church with Wayne Turner, Chad Kelsoe, Willard Cole, Leon Jefferys, and Keith Brakeman officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery, Speake.
Mr. Kelsoe who died Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born November 20, 1939, to Eric Bradley Kelsoe and Mattie Lou Dover. His church of choice was Valley Grove Baptist Church. He served time in the Army and was retired from General Motors. His hobbies were farming and woodworking. Mr. Kelsoe was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Eloise Hill Kelsoe; and brothers, Eric Kelsoe Jr. and Marlin Kelsoe.
Survivors include his wife, Merlene Reeves Kelsoe; son, Eddie Kelsoe (Tammie); daughters, Janice Zills (Ricky) and Cindy Couch (Bobby); stepsons, Jonathan Reeves (Lequitta) and Stanley Reeves; stepdaughters, Jennifer Kilgore (Ed) and Kelly Clark (David); grandchildren, Amanda Kelsoe, Chad Kelsoe (Nicole), Cody Zills, and Logan Coan; ten step-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, Maggie Bea Kelsoe; and brother, James Kelsoe.
Pallbearers will be Chad Kelsoe, Cody Zills, Logan Coan, Jerry Kelsoe, Jonathan Reeves, Jonah Reeves, Jordan Reeves, and Matt Adams.
