Edward “Eddie” Dean Robbins

Edward “Eddie” Dean Robbins, 74, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, surrounded by his family, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County on Friday, February 16, 2024. Eddie was a precious brother and mentor, helping his mother raise his five siblings. He served his Lord and Saviour his whole life, never meeting anyone he did not love.

Eddie is survived by his sisters, Brenda Robbins, Velma Street (Jim), and Lucy Robbins; his brother, Jackie Robbins (Janet); a host of nieces and nephews; a special niece, Gina Sneed Sugarbaker; and his special dog Maggie, that he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne “Dago” Robbins; his mother, Janie Robbins; niece, Sandy Sneed Walker; and his uncles, Novel Hollis and Pokey Hollis.

Services will be Monday, February 19, 2024, at 12PM at Greatest Mission Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Parrish officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 18th 5-8PM at Greatest Mission Baptist Church and Monday, February 19th 11AM until service time. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Larry Kelly, Robin Hood Taylor, Jeremy “Moe” Robbins, Jimmy Strickland, Dakota Willard, and Brandon Willard.
