Edward Donald Kilgo, age 55 of Helicon, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at his residence.
He was born August 5, 1968 to Wilburn and Shirley Kilgo. Edward was loved by so many. To be around him and know him was a gift. He will always be remembered for his jokes and laughter and cutting up with whoever was around. Edward always loved to let everyone know how lucky we were to have him!
After years and years of working in the ‘log woods’ doing the job he loved, he could run a crew in his sleep! Edward was a family man, who after a long day’s work, enjoyed coming home to his loving wife. He was known as “Pappy Ed” to his grandchildren, whom he loved more than anything! Edward will be missed by so many and will forever be in our hearts.
Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where the service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Chuck White will officiate.
Edward is survived by his wife of 32 years, Susie Kilgo; daughter, Tasha Alden; grandchildren, Lakyn and Riggins Alden; sister, Legenia Kilgo; brother, Dennis Kilgo; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilburn Kilgo; mother, Shirley Kilgo; and brother, Frankie Kilgo.
