Edward Charles Robinson, Sr., was born October 9, 1937, in Oakfield, Tennessee, the son of the Ernest Robinson, Sr. and Louise Jones Robinson.
He departed this life suddenly Sunday, November 17, 2019, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital, at the age of 82.
Mr. Robinson served in the United States Navy and was married to Dorothy Ann Long Robinson and worked for the Jackson Madison County General Hospital until his retirement in 1997.
He enjoyed taking care of his family, home and fishing. His greatest enjoyment was spending time and spoiling his grandchildren.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Jerry Davis, Edward Charles Robinson, a granddaughter, Alisha Morgan and a great grandson, Lorenzo Robinson.
Those left to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Dorothy Ann Long Robinson, his children, Carolyn Fuller (Paul), Yolanda Robinson (Torrance Perry), all of Jackson, TN, Timothy Robinson of Memphis, TN, brother, Eugene Robinson, Sr of Atlanta, GA, sister, Hanah Saaihiah (Catherine Robinson) of Decatur, IL, a daughter-in-law, Latonua Robinson, two brothers-in-law, Edward Charles Long (Margaret), Robert Scott, two sisters-in-law, Carlene Long Clark, Betty Thompson Long all of Jackson, TN
And a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends.
