Edsel Parker, 72, of Moulton died Thursday, January 22, 2015, at his residence. Everyone is invited to attend Edsel’s Homegoing on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Ed King officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Parker was born July 9, 1942, in Lawrence County to Leonard Parker and Trannie Filyaw Parker. He owned D&D Paving. He was a member of Old Town Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Wayland Parker.

Survivors include his wife, Myra Layton Parker; three daughters, Noelle Dutton (Jamie) of Moulton, Nadra Harris (Dale) of Nashville, Tenn., and Andrea Parker of Madison; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; foster daughter, Tammy, her children and grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gary Wright, Ray Blaxton, Paul Cartee, Jordan Pace, Dan Pace and Johnny Lorance.
