Edna Taylor Schmale
July 7, 1945- January 1, 2025
Edna Taylor Schmale, beloved mother, grandmother and aunt, of Cullman passed away at the age of 79 on January 1, 2025, at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center after a long but unexpected illness. Edna was a 1963 graduate of Cullman High School. After working at Cullman Products for many years, she was primarily a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Edna always had an impeccable sense of style. She was never boastful, always kind, and had the most beautiful blue eyes. Survivors include son, Brett Schmale of Cullman; daughter, Lea (Josh) Hall of Bloomington, Indiana; granddaughter, Emma Taylor Hall; nephews Gordon Battles of Cullman and Miles Stutts of Florence; and many cousins and friends.
A visitation with family and friends will be held at Cullman Funeral Home on Friday, January 10th from 1:00-2:30 PM followed by a private graveside service at Cullman City Cemetery, officiated by Miles Stutts. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
