Funeral service for Mrs. Edna Peck age 102 of Lacey’s Spring will be Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 3:00pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lacey’s Spring with Brother Jerry Hall officiating with burial in the Russell Cemetery at Pines Baptist Church in Florette with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:30pm until service time on Sunday at the Church.

 

Mrs. Peck, who was born March 20, 1919 in Lacey’s Spring to Leon Lipscomb and Dannie Dewey Moore Lipscomb, died on Friday, September 24, 2021 at her home. She worked many, many years as a substitute school teacher at A.P. Brewer High School and Cotaco School for the Morgan County School System. She was a faithful member of the Pines Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and the Church Clerk for many years. She loved to work on her farm and was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Peck and a sister, Sue Black.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Dannie Cochran (Lamoyne); 3 grandchildren, Greg Motes (Jennifer), Tami Galloway and Eric Cochran (Katie); 7 great-grandchildren, Emily Motes, Ashley Motes, Jarrod Galloway, Braydon Galloway, Brooks Cochran, Graham Cochran and Carter Cochran.

 

Jarrod Galloway, Braydon Galloway, Wes Anderson, Jerry McCutcheon and Mike Graveman will serve as pallbearers.

 

Brooks Cochran, Graham Cochran and Carter Cochran will serve as honorary pallbearers

The family request that, if possible,  please wear a mask for the safety of others.
