Edna Pauline Henry – Obituary

Mrs. Edna Pauline Henry, age 63 of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. A native of Albany, GA., Mrs. Henry was the daughter of the late Arthur Bertram Rouse and the late Willie Pauline Brown Rouse. She worked for several years in the emergency room as a registered nurse. She loved flowers, enjoyed drawing pictures of flowers, and many other types of craft work. As a young girl she faithfully attended Pine Bluff Baptist Church, and throughout life she professed the Baptist faith. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her husband grieves her passing, mightily, but is comforted by the knowledge that she now rests in God’s care. Survivors include her husband, Gordon Eugene Henry of Huntsville; two sons and daughter-in- law, Grady and Danielle Henry of Birmingham, and Arthur Henry of Ft. Payne; two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Grady Jr.; sisters and brother-in-laws, Patricia and Danny Calhoun of Cobb, GA and Brenda and Bill Womble of Albany, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home in Albany, GA. Reverend Terry Siniard will officiate with interment to follow at Gordon Cemetery in Colquitt at 4:00 p.m.
