Marie Moultrie Profile Photo Edna “Marie” Moultrie, 92, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at her residence. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home with O. D. Bowling and Bill Becker officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on August 31, 1931, to James and Maggie Collins Stewart, Marie was a life-time member of New Antioch Church of Christ. Marie was a seamstress for many years, and was known for her beautiful quilts. Marie enjoyed cooking and gardening, but above all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her three children, Randy (Jeana) Moultrie, Jan (Greg) McDaniel, and Dawn (Mike) Berryman; grandchildren, Nick McDaniel, Laura (Chris) Brown, Caleb (Brianna) Moultrie, Ben (Brittany) Moultrie, Katie Berryman, and Kloie Berryman; great-grandchildren, Gaines Moultrie, Abram Moultrie, Haley Brown, Mason McDaniel, Noah McDaniel, Everett Moultrie, Silas Brown, Mac Moultrie, Emma McDaniel, Anna Claire Moultrie, and Ava Kate Moultrie; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Therrol Moultrie; parents, James and Maggie Stewart; great-grandson, Jackson Moultrie; three sisters; and five brothers.

Pallbearers will be Nick McDaniel, Caleb Moultrie, Ben Moultrie, James McKelvy, Chris Brown, and Kyle Pankey.

The family extends special thanks to Hospice of North Alabama, Amanda Steele, and Amy Posey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Marie’s memory.
