Edna Mae Pace – Obituary

 Mrs. Edna  Mae PaceMrs. Edna Mae Pace passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at her home, Brookdale Senior Living. She was born January 16, 1929. To Elias and Lydia Bellamy. She was a lifelong servant of Christ and a faithful member of North Cleveland Church of God. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; Edna wore many titles, but her favorite was Child of God. She was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. Edna enjoyed working in her garden and spending time relaxing on her porch. She spent the last several years of her life anxiously looking forward to her homecoming, to meet her Savior face to face, and to be reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Lonie.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Wayne and Pam Brewer officiating. Pallbearers will be Wade Lutz, Buel Moore, Clark Breese, Michael Reid, Robert Pace, and Gary Golden. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pace is survived by her children, Teresa Moore (Buel), Karen Lutz (Wade), and Terry Pace (Shirley); grandchildren, Hilary Reid (Michael), Clark Breese (Kim), Sara Moore, and Robert Pace (Skye); great grandchildren, Kizzie Breese and Addie Kate Reid; sisters, Magdalene Brewer and Martha Holland (JC).

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and several siblings, Troy Bellamy, Vera B. Bellamy, Lucille Pace, and Roy Bellamy.
