Edna Louise Rickard, 96, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Ed White officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Edna was a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Rickard; parents, James and Violet Renwick; son, Herbert Charles Rickard; and siblings, James, Charles, Dan, Richard, and Janet.
Edna is survived by her children, Joyce Williams, Darlene Hardeman, Roger Renwick (Judy), and Bonnie Williams (Phillip); sisters, Anne Minek and Ethel Komlosky; grandchildren, Matthew Hardeman (Justin), Daniel Hardeman (Susannah), Natasha Durham (Dustin), Brandon Williams (Missy), Jacob Williams, Michael Williams, and Halley Russell (Jacob); and great-grandchildren, Dylan Hardeman, Camron Hardeman, Mason Durham, Noah Durham, Miller Williams, Oliver Williams, and Braxton Russell.
Edna’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family offers special thanks to Cypress Cove Center, Aveanna Hospice, and Carol Dabbs of Highland Park Church of Christ.
