Edna King Holley – Obituary

Edna King Holley, 90, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, Al. She and her late husband, Odus, owned and operated King’s Department Store in Red Bay for fifty years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Red Bay, Al. She enjoyed activities with her family, traveling and being a member of the Red Bay Garden Club. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother as well as a dear friend.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, November 30, at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens, Florence, Al. with Bro. Larry Hill officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens, Florence, Al. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters – Lynda Ledbetter (Jerry) Mobile, Al. and Marilyn Murphree (Steve) Guntersville, Al.; one sister – Austelene McGee, Boaz, Al; four beloved grandsons – Micah Ledbetter (Stephanie), Nathan Ledbetter (Erin), Kyle Murphree (Laura) and Tyler Murphree; the delight of her life-six great-grandchildren – Lawson and Harper Ledbetter, Rivers and Reece Ledbetter and Kylie and Collins Murphree and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 a.m.-12 noon on Friday, November 30, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al.
