Edna Jean King – Obituary

Mrs. Edna Jean King, 77, passed away Saturday July 8, 2017 at the STRHS-Sewanee Hospital. She was born in Sale Creek, Tennessee on May 25, 1940 to Johnny Wesley Perry and Alvilda King Perry who preceded her in death along with her husband, Elmer Cline King; son, Jess Clinton King; brother, Malcolm Perry; sisters, Rachel Willis and Thelma King; daughter-in-law, Glema King.

She was of the Holiness Faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Norma Jean (Jackie) Henry; sons, Eddie Lee and Marshall Leon King; brothers, James, Homer and David Perry; sisters, Catherine Phillips, Christine Perry, Glenda (Donnie) Clendenon and Avis (Jeff) Scruggs; grandchildren,  Christy Henry and Fiance’ Dewayne Campbell and Elizabeth and Dustin Tate; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Russell Irvin and Jack Nance officiating with burial to follow in the Hunerwadel Cemetery.
