Edna Grace Fowler Pickard, 96, of Florence, passed away Friday, December 6, 2022, at El Reposo Nursing Home. Mrs. Pickard was a faithful member of North Wood Methodist Church for over 70 years, Goodwill Club, and Ruth Subgroup. She was a member of Alpha Sigma-Delta Kappa Gamma.
She was an elementary teacher for many years at Cloverdale and Weeden schools. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Spending time with her family meant a lot to her. Time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was always very special to her.
A graveside service will take place Friday, December 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Wayne Williams.
Mrs. Pickard was preceded in death by her parents, Caesar and Annie Fowler; husband, Eugene Pickard; and sisters Dot Mattox and Betty Ressler.
She is survived by her son, Terry Pickard (Tammy), Travis Bridge, Al; daughter, Rhonda Hairell (Lewis), Florence, Al; sister, Doris Franks, Florence; grandchildren, Kylie DeLoach, Jim Pickard, Gene Pickard, and Kacy Hairell; great-grandchildren, Carter DeLoach, Caden DeLoach, Isabel DeLoach, Cannon DeLoach, Bradley Pickard, Bennett Pickard, Riley Pickard and Brooks Pickard.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Wood United Methodist Church or El Reposo.
