Edith Odell Nicholson age 76 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Nicholson was born November 30, 1941 to Jim Ed Smith and Lillie Black Smith.
Services will be Friday, December 8, 2017 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Donald Terry officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Joliet, IL

Mrs. Nicholson was a member of Truth Baptist Church.
Survived by one sister, Judy Griffin and husband, Wyatt of Athens; one brother, Glenn Smith and wife, Linda of Athens; one grandson, Matthew Lee Krabbe of Shorewood. IL.
Pallbearers will be Terry Davis, Brian Krabbe, Alex Urbaniec and Tom Urbauer.
