Edith O. Mitchell Nevels, 95, Huntsville, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Mitchell. She was a long time member of Gurley Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra McMains; two grandsons, William Scott Nunn and James Todd Nunn; great-grandson, Corey Nunn; great-great granddaughter, Brook Nunn; special niece, Jo Ann Mitchell Iorio. Visitation will be Monday, August 31 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Gurley Cemetery. Chaplain William Daniels will be officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
