Mrs. Edith McDuffie, of the Georgia Mountain area in Guntersville AL, passed away on October 5, 2022 at the age of 82.
Mrs. McDuffie was born in Jasper, TN on April 4, 1940 to Charlie Grant Dake and Ida Mae Harriad. She enjoyed working in her garden and caring for her flowers, and lawn. She also enjoyed word search puzzles and watching Christian television.
Mrs. McDuffie leaves behind to celebrate her life her son; Paul Jeffery McDuffie and his wife Sherry, sisters; Alice Riddle and Coraline Hodges, grandchildren; Nichola Bosarge and her husband Charlie, Byron Kinney and his wife Erica, and Teri McDuffie and her husband Freddie, and 12 great grandchildren.
Mrs. McDuffie is at last reunited with her husband; Irrie McDuffie, parents; Charlie and Ida Dake, brothers; C.H. Dake, Lester Dake, Louis Dake, and William Earl Dake, and granddaughter; Tori McDuffie
A visitation with the family of Mrs. McDuffie will be on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Services will be on Sunday October 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
