Edith Lois Thompson of Pulaski passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System. She was born in Lawrenceburg on January 10, 1922 and was 95 years old.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She liked working in her flower garden, her animals, and eating out with family and friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 7th from 11:00am until 1:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens, Lawrenceburg, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Luther Thompson, parents, Henry Timothy and Cora Lawrence Whitten, sister, Gladys Hurt and a brother Vernon Whitten.
She is survived by her,
Daughter, Linda Thompson (Pete) Holley of Pulaski, TN.
Son, Charles N. (Devona) Thompson of AL.
Son, Terry L. (Dianne) Thompson of AL.
Grandchildren, Kim (Andy) Gowan, Craig (Jill) Thompson, Chuck Thompson, Emily E. (Allen Burgess) Thompson, Colter (Angie) Thompson and Tammie Thompson.
10 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great Great-grandchildren
Sister, Louise Massey Wallace of TN.
Many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends also survive.
