Edith Geneva Townsend Edith Geneva Townsend, age 94 of Lester was surrounded by family when she passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Mrs. Townsend was born June 13, 1928, in Limestone County to William T. Skeets and Cassie B. Brooks.

Mrs. Townsend was a life-long member of Leggtown Church of Christ and her love of Christ was the center point of everything she did.
