Edith Christiano Threet age 71, of Killen, died Monday, December 3, 2012. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 5, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. There will be a private graveside service for family on Thursday, December 6, at 10:00 am at Center Star Cemetery with Brother Stan Dean officiating. She was a member of Killen Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thalma Cosby Thomas; father, Roy Lee Thomas; son, Randell Lee Threet; sister, Mary Ivine Thomas Dickerson; brothers, Bernard Lee Thomas, David Jackson Thomas, and Lewis Earl Thomas. Survivors are her children, Ricky Threet, Reka Threet, and Ron Threet (Tisa); grandchildren, Amanda, Kayla, Raven, Nellie, Brandon, Michael and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Austin, Kaylee, Andrew ,and Katie; sisters, Reba Duren, Elaine Holden Lash, Juanita Freeman, Patricia Beddingfield, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Southern Bank, 1455 Highway 72, Killen, Alabama.
