Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Edgar Louis Naylor age 78, of Winchester. Mr. Naylor passed from this life on February 25, 2021 while at St. Thomas West Hospital. Mr. Naylor was a native of West Memphis AR. He was a man of Christian faith who loved to garden, fish and was talented in woodworking. He was employed with Winn Dixie for many years as a Realty Director in the New Orleans District. Mr. Naylor retired in 2003. He was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church in Winchester. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing, his wife of 56 years, Joanne Baker Naylor; sons, Carl Lewis Naylor of Huntsville, Warren Dean (Misty) Naylor of Chattanooga, James Naylor (Jennifer Vencill) of New Orleans; sister, Kaye (Paul) Hoover of Sherwood, AR; brothers, Bobby (Margaret) Naylor of Memphis, TN, Bill (Janet) Naylor of Little Rock, AR; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Drew, Erin and Reagan. Mr. Naylor is preceded in death by his parents, Hazel Dean and Beulah Smith Naylor and brother, Jimmy Naylor. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 2, 2021 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday March 2, 2021 and will also be conducted from Oaklawn Baptist Church. Interment will be at Watson-North Memorial Park with Keith Driscoll, Joe Ferrero, Bob Naylor, Carl Naylor, Dean Naylor and James Naylor serving as pallbearers. Tom Myers will serve an honorary pallbearer. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in honor of Mr. Naylor to Oaklawn Baptist Church Designated Missions Fund.
