Funeral service for Edgar E. Foster, 87, will be Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Foreman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Foster died on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born August 27, 1926, in Limestone County to John Thomas Foster and Mattie Lanier Patterson. He was formerly employed by Inscho’s Mechanical as a pipefitter. He was a U.S. Navy World War II Veteran in the “Pacific Theater”. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife: Mickie Spain Foster.
