Eddie Raymon Davis, 67 of Toney, Alabama died on Monday, September 23, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Wednesday, February 6, 1946 in Lafayette, Indiana, he was the son of the late Andrew Benton Davis and the late Kathleen Stockton Davis. He was a Retired Master Seargent from the US Army and also served in the Marines.
He loved gardening and restoring cars. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half sister, Vonda.
Surviving are his wife: Sharon Davis of Toney, AL, sons, Jeffrey (Deborah) Davis of Wilmington, NC and Jeremy Davis of Winchester, KY, daughter, Inga (Bill) Barry of Huntsville, AL, brother, Charles (Sharon) Davis of Scottsburg, IN, sister, Sharlene Allen and five grandchildren: Julian Davis, Ava Davis, Shawn Davis, Bill Barry, and Brendan Barry.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home located, Ardmore, Alabama with Chaplain Jerry Sherbourne officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Salvation Army.
