Eddie Howard Dodd, 80, of Sumiton, passed away October 21, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Jerry Dodd; grandparents J. U. and Floy Mae Dodd.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Glenda Owens Dodd; sons Jonathan Dodd (Tammie) and Patrick Dodd (Brooke); grandchildren Camran Dodd, Cicely Hester (Aaron), Gabe Dodd, and Noah Dodd; brother Jim Dodd (Brenda); sister Judy Stephenson (Devin); and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 24, 2022, at Sumiton Church of God. Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. The service will be at 2:00 p.m. with the graveside following at New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Reverend Lane Sargent, Reverend Harv Turner, Jr. officiating.
