Eddie Heath Howell, 58 passed away from the earth on December 14th 2024 at his home in Starkville, MS. Eddie was born July 27th 1966, to Robert W. Howell and Catherine Ables in Oktibbeha County. Eddie was a graduate of Starkville High School Class of 1984 and attended Wood Jr. College in Mathiston, MS. He was employed at FlexSteel as an upholstery builder.
Eddie is survived by his parents Robert and Ruby Howell of Starkville, MS a sister Rhonda (Cory) Carter, Hollister, N.C., a brother Clint (Becky) McCain, Maben, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Catherine Ables, paternal grandparents Louise and Gordon Howell, a brother Gordon Henderson Howell, and a nephew Cody Carter as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Starkville at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday December 19. The visitation will be prior to the funeral service from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will conclude the service at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Memorial Garden Park, Starkville, MS. Bro. Larry Watson will officiate.
